Serial Number Locations
The Serial Number for all products can be found in the following locations:
- On the #Product itself.
- On the #Package.
- Using My Account: Registration Search or in if it was registered.
- Proof or Purchase: On , EStore 2020: Order Details, and on some dealer receipts (not visible on older WEG/WTC eStore orders).
The Serial Number is not always in the same location as the Model Number.

Products manufactured after Late 2016 have the new-format Electronic Serial Number (ESN), which can be found in the following locations:

EMR Pens and Stylus products
Wacom EMR tablet pens and Stylus products also have a Serial Number printed on them.
- This is not usually required for warranty handling etc.
- In most cases this is only the Year number and Month letter.
- Location varies by product and generation, for example:
- For professional pens, it is usually located under the rubber grip.
- For hobbyist pens, it is usually engraved on the shaft.

- For stylus with USB charging (Bamboo Fineline, Bamboo Ink, it is usually under the charging cap
